Nope! Your logo is important, however it’s just a small piece of what represents your brand.
A brand is not only about the visuals that describes your business, but an experience you provide to your audience. You are creating an experience for your customers – sending them off feeling an emotion that intrigues them, it keeps them curious and interested. It’s what they’re telling their family & friends about once they’ve decided to invest in a product or service from you.
Let’s talk about brand vs. branding…
– Your brand is the relationship between you and your audience. It’s how they feel about your business.
– Your branding is the effective strategy that creates that experience for your customers.
When you have a well-thought and purposeful brand strategy – you have limitless opportunities to share your brand with your audience in a way that will speak to them, and bring you conversions.
First, I’d like to ask you these questions…
A strong & powerful brand doesn’t happen overnight, but if you are serious about taking it far and successful – then you have to be willing to invest in it. Your brand needs nourishing and strategy behind it to showcase what sets you apart from your competitors. When you give your brand a strong identity, you’re connecting and converting with your ideal audience.
Why do you purchase the products you buy? What was it about that business you bought from vs. the competitor next door? Why did you pay a little more for a product when you could’ve bought the generic product that would save you $$$?
Investing may sound scary to some, but when you start reaping the benefits of it – you’ll be wondering why you didn’t do it sooner!
You can absolutely start building the basic foundation on your own if you’re not in a position to invest just yet. Just by realizing that you want to take that step in your business is HUGE. Starting on things yourself are best suited when you’re brand new to your business. You can purchase a template, organically market yourself on social media, join communities to network with others, and TAKE THE FREE ADVICE!
If you aren’t brand new to your business, and not super tech-savvy – I will be very honest and say I would highly consider hiring others to elevate your brand in ways that you aren’t sure how to. It’ll take away the pressure of trying to become an expert at something you simply don’t have the time and energy for. At some stage in your business, you have to be willing to invest in it or else how far is it really going to go?
